Company Description

Henry General Contractors, Inc. seeking talented Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of federal, state and private construction projects.

Role Description

  • Managing Construction Projects of moderate to high-level complexity from inception to project completion
  • Support site operations ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standards, and operational requirements.
  • Create and manage submittals and RFI's.
  • Provide support for management in the oversight of project contract work.
  • Assist in review and approval of project contractor schedules, and respond to information, submittals, and change requests.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of the project, following a logical pattern for utilization of resources to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
  • Attends seminars, company training, or workshops to remain abreast of the latest industry developments.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience as a construction project manager.
  • Excellent understanding of construction safety regulations, building codes, and project management principles
  • Experience managing and coordinating construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Certification in construction safety or project management is a plus.
